Audio stops playing when the screen turns off

If the app stops playing the audio and quits when the screen is off or the device goes to sleep, it could be your phone or device not allowing it to run in the background to save battery life. Please try one of the following suggested solutions to fix the issue. Menu options and settings may vary by device and software versions.

Solution 1

Go to Device Settings
Go to Apps
Select Dhamma.org
(a) Select Optimize Battery Usage > search for Dhamma.org and disable, or
(b) Power-intensive prompt and select "Keep running after screen off"

Solution 2

Go to Device Settings
Go to Apps
Select Dhamma.org
Select Battery
(a) Remove "Background Restriction", or
(b) Select Battery Optimization > find Dhamma.org and disable optimization

Solution 3

Go to Device Settings
Go to Device Care
Select Battery
Select Dhamma.org
Disable "Put app to sleep"
