There is currently available at Dhamma Giri a long term opportunity for an old student who is a computer professional to give service in the field of computer hardware and software support in connection with the activities of the Info Centre.

The eligibility criteria for volunteers interested in applying for this opportunity are as follows:

Must be a Vipassana Meditator (in this tradition) and have compeleted atleast two ten-day courses.

Must have atleast one or two years work experience in the field of computer hardware and software support. Those who have less experience may still qualify if they have certifications in the fields of interest. A candidate must have competence in installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting problems in computer systems and computer networks and a willingness to learn more as may be required.

Candidates must have both oral and written fluency in the English and Hindi (Compulsory) Languages with Marathi being optional but a plus.

Candidates should have a reasonable typing speed in English

Candidates should be between 22 to 28 years of age.

A candidate should be willing to commit to this volunteer service for a period of atleast two years
